Abstract
- The article discusses developments of archaeological work at the village of Sedgeford in Norfolk, England. It notes that the Sedgeford Historical and Archaeological Research Project began in 1996 to investigate the existence of Middle to Late Anglo-Saxon settlement and burial site. It cites evidence of rural settlement from the 7th to 11th century AD based on the Boneyard and Chalkpit excavations from 2007, with speculation that the church served as the central authority on the village.
