Abstract

The article presents a case study of a two-year-old captive-bred female sugar glider Petaurus breviceps diagnosed with parasitism by Ophidascarsis (O.) robertsi which was admitted to a veterinary clinic in Madrid, Spain. Her histopathologic diagnosis revealed perivascular pulmonary hemorrhage due to the parasitosis. Her necropsy revealed the presence of three nematodes in the abdominal cavity, right atrium and right ventricle.
