Abstract
- Congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis (CHPS) is the most common cause of gastric outlet obstruction during the first 3 months of life. Different diagnostic tools have been used to define this entity, with ultrasonography (US) and a barium meal (UGI) used most commonly. We report MR appearance of CHPS on half-Fourier acquisition single-shot turbo spin-echo (HASTE) sequence in a 2-month-old infant. We think that it combines the advantages of US and barium meal.
