Abstract: The article offers news briefs related to ancient Egypt as of 2014. The remains of a temple dating to the era of Thutmose III have been discovered during a dig at a residential el-Badrashin area of Giza. A study from the Cairo University has suggested that the New Kingdom royal families had diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis and not ankylosing spondylitis. The Egyptian Engineers' Association (EEA) has inspected the restoration project at Djoser's Step Pyramid following allegations.
