Abstract
- The article focuses on the petrochemical fluidised catalytic cracking (PFCC) unit commissioned by Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil & Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. (ONGC), in India. The PFCCU will enable MRPL to triple its production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from 15-million tons per annum (mtpa) grassroot refinery. The public sector Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) executed the project and licensed from engineering firm Technip Stone & Webster International Inc.
