Pork Industry Considers Creation of Swine Health Information Center to Protect Health of U.S. Swine Herd.

The article discusses the deliberation on the creation of a National Swine Health Information Center by the U.S. National Pork Board with funded from the Pork Checkoff program. Harry Snelson of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians and Craig Rowles of Elite Pork had described at the Iowa State University Swine Disease Conference its proposed disease monitoring functions along with the participation of the National Pork Producers Council.
