Abstract

The article presents a case-study of a 50 year old woman with aphasia. It mentions that she underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Doppler ultrasonography, and echocardiography. It also discusses impact of acute stroke and acute stroke caused Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCMP) on TCMP. It also highlights a study by S. Yoshimura, which found that patients with acute stroke have lower risk to developing atherosclerotic vascular disease.
