Determination and forecast of agricultural land prices.

The article discusses the study that determined applicability of hedonic price analysis methodology to determine and forecast agricultural land prices in Brazi, for the provision of supporting data to democratize access to rural land. Topics discussed include use of a multiple regression model with price per hectare as an explanatory variable, and generation of a parsimonious model with application to a Homogeneous Zone of the state of Maranhão in Brazil.
