THE ANATOMY AND ULTRASTRUCTURE OF THE NECTARIES AND OSMOPHORES OF WATER FORGET-ME-NOT (MYOSOTIS SCORPIOIDES L.).

The article focuses on a research conducted to examine the ultrastructure and anatomical characteristics of nectary and odour-producing tissues presents on petals of the plant Myosotis scorpioides' flowers with scanning and transmission electron microscopy technique. It mentions presence of multiple plastids, large cell nuclei, and rough endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in nectary cells' ultrastructure and secretion of essential oils from papillae present in the petal's adaxial epidermis.
