Abstract: The article discusses strategies for increasing grocery retailers' sales of candies and snacks. Retailers are advised to keep themselves updated on trends and to anticipate customer demand. Merchandising the candy category in multiple places throughout the store is suggested. Incorporating shopper insights in category management decisions is also suggested.
