Mines, Mining, and Miners on Mariscal Mountain: Landscape and People in Cultural Resource Management.

The article presents a case study of the Mariscal mine archaeology project in Big Bend National Park in Texas, focusing on research into the cultural resource management of the archaeological site for the Historic American Engineering Record. Other topics include information on the history of the mine and description of the buildings there, description of the industrial processes that took place at the mine, and the working and living conditions of the miners and their families.
