Abstract

The earth quake is the disaster that is handled in this paper. The location of the earth quake can be finding by using the various localization process available in the WSN. This chapter firstly discusses the localization techniques then the proposed technique that is used to get the accurate position of the earth quake. Node localization refers to determine the accurate and precise physical location of each node in the network. To measure significant data we need location information of the sensor nodes. Node localization is required to answers questions about the network coverage, report queries about sensors and origin of event occurs. The proposed system uses the KALMAN filter to get the exact location of the earth quake. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
