Abstract

The article discusses Immune-mediated hypertrophic pachymeningitis (HP) and presents the clinical significance of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody and Wegener's granulomatosis. Topics mentioned include autoimmune diseases, infections, syphilis and bacterial diseases such as tuberculosis and neoplasms like lymphoma. A study on patients with HP is presented with observations namely predominance in elderly females, presence of garnulomatosis with polyangiitis and lesions in dura mater.
