Abstract

Mahandi is the hand-screen-printed wall-covering from Yonkers, New York-based designer Carolyn Ray.Named after the Mahandi tree that produces henna sap for the arms of Indian brides, the pattern on the 27″-wide Class A fire-rated wallpaper is a companion to an earlier design from the company named Foo Lim.Mahandi features a leafy cascade motif in four color offerings: Taj Express, Monsoon, Darjeeling, and Groove Mahal.
