Abstract

It has not even been two years since disaster management took over the enforcement process of the transportation of dangerous goods by inland waterways. The international regulations of the transportation of dangerous goods by inland waterways are recorded in the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN). The most important goal of control and inspection is to get the regulations enforced in order to ensure transportation safety. The main goals of this article are to evaluate the experience, present the achievements and make proposals on how to correct the mistakes and deficiencies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
