Abstract
- The article discusses the threat posed by natural disasters to diabetic patients who have impaired endogenous insulin secretory capacity. Topics covered include the occurrence of an earthquake in the Great East Japan in March 2011 as well as observation of glycemic control among patients in the area. Also mentioned are the changes in the glycemia of participants after the disaster.
