Abstract
- A Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation with time-dependent coefficients is studied in this paper. The similarity transformation for this system is investigated and an exact solution in a particular case is obtained. The Ablowitz–Ramani–Segur (ARS) conjecture is used to identify the integrability of the system. It is found that in some special cases the system may be integrable. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
