Abstract
- The author reflects on recent interest shown by farm operators on unmanned aerial vehicles (AUV). Topics discussed include the author's experience of flying around the county on an aerial crop scouting mission, the advantages offered by the AUV technology, and the possibility of AUVs becoming a common crop scouting tool in the near future.
