Abstract

Although there is some reticence on the outlined models of developing and operating networks topromote and support common goals and on the results and the sustainability of actions initiated by the networks,we consider network governance effective in supporting entrepreneurship. After a short literature review ofnetwork governance and regional entrepreneurship network concepts, the paper presents a case study ofregional inclusive entrepreneurship network in North – Vest and West Regions of Romania based on Holley'sapproach - AntrESNetwork, relevant and sustainable at regional level. The paper concludes that empoweringregional entrepreneurship networks in a country like Romania confronted both with the economic-financial crisisand European integration challenges could be a good example of "learning" network governance based onpartnership and innovation culture. Moreover, encouraging regional entrepreneurship networks dedicated toinclusive entrepreneurship and promoting entrepreneurship as a mean of self-employment and employment, could lead to more rapidly "exist the crisis" and regional economies recovery.
