Abstract
- The article presents the study on institutional theory with regards to micro-level processes that construct institutional field structures and how these structures influence micro-level processes. It discusses how the study was conducted which focuses on the concept of framing and how stakeholders can shape and be shaped by field structures. It defines institutional field which refers to the community of organizations that pursue a common meaning system. The author argues that various issue frames may conduce to different settlement types in field structures.
