Abstract

The article presents research on the evolution of sustainable coffee's political dynamics and its contested value regimes of corporate social responsibility (CSR). It outlines the emergence of CSR definition and practice from the interactions that anticipate and accommodate the other parties' movement. The notions of passive revolution and value regime in field change processes in corporation-non-government organization interactions are noted. The dialectical understanding of value regime transformation is recommended.
