Influența relațiilor internaționale în democratizare.

In this paper, the author presents the way the international community influences the democratization process. Along side the internal factors, tranzition can be significatly influenced by the international arena, where activate states, international organizations or non-governmental organizations. The available political actions range from support for democracy and democratic assistance, to sanctions and even armed intervention. The paper offers an overview of these significant actions, as well as contemporary trends and approaches in the international relations applied to the worldwide promotion of democracy and democratization.
