Abstract

The article discusses the court case of Steven Alan Levin v. the U.S. related to medical battery immunity claims. Levin filed a case against the government and an undisclosed Navy surgeon for battery and negligence. Levin alleges that despite the oral withdrawal of his written consent form for cataract surgery, the doctor continued the surgical operations that resulted to severe complications.
