Abstract

The article discusses the U.S Court Case Brown v. Daikin America, wherein an American Todd Brown, who worked for a Japanese company in New York sued the company alleging racial discrimination in his termination under the reduction in force decisions. The court stated that Brown's case should go forward on the basis of entire transformation of workforce and the company will have to come up with a business-related reason to justify why all Japanese employees kept their jobs but Americans not.
