Abstract

The article discusses research on DNA repair and pattern recognition receptors (PRRs). Topics discussed are the content of a group of PRRs, the toll-like receptors (TLRs) found on the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, the mediation by the MyD88 of the optimal activation of the Ras/mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, and the role of NOD-like receptors (NLRs) in DNA repair. Also mentioned are RIG-I-like receptors (RLRs), checkpoint kinase (Chk), and the mechanisms of DNA repair.
