Abstract
- The article focuses on the high densities of the hybrid coral Acropora prolifera discovered in the Bay of Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, Guadeloupe Island, Lesser Antilles in January 2013. It mentions that genetic microsatellite analyses confirmed the hybrid nature of the colonies. It adds that the decreased parental species' density makes increased the probability of heterospecific sperm encounters.
