Forests in the sustainable development goals.

The article focuses on the role of forests and trees in sustainable development goals (SDGs). Topics discussed include the part of forests and trees in the universal and integrated SDGs created at the Rio+20 summit in Brazil in June 2012, the international policies which target forest protection such as the Rio Conventions on Biodiversity, Climate Change, and Desertification, and the 10 key targets for forests and trees in SDGs.
