Abstract
- The authors assess an approach to brain imaging that will support Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis by combining structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and cerebral blood flow (CBF) assessed by MRI-arterial spinning labelling (ASL). The approach, which is being studied by researchers H. K. Mak and colleagues, considers MRI-based hippocampal volume and perfusion measurement of the temporo-parietal region in an effort to improve AD diagnosis.
