Presents a summary of a doctoral dissertation on the use of time in the eighteenth century with the concept of giving account for time use taken from Old Bailey, a court in England. Assumption that Londoners were very hard-working between 1750-1800; Availability of data from the `Old Bailey Sessions Papers'; Indepth look at the validity of the assumption.
