Abstract
- The article presents a study on the validation and development of the Undergraduate Perceptions of Poverty Tracking Survey (UPPTS) in the U.S. It mentions its provision of data on the views of disadvantaged undergraduates along with their attitude, empathy and commitment. It also considers cognitive distancing as one of the main reasons of failure in assisting poor people.
