Abstract

The article presents a case study of an 8-year-old student from the ulcer-endemic community in Ghana, with a month's history of painless nodule on the anterior chest and was taken to the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital. The patient underwent a medical examination wherein it revealed an extensive oedematous lesion involving the chest and neck regions. The article also discusses the use for combination of antibiotic therapy for patients with buruli ulcers.
