Abstract

High performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole-time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry was used to profile the phenylethanoid glycosides inLagotis brevituba. A total of twenty-three phenylethanoid glycosides were characterized by comparing the retention time and fragmentation with standards, accurate mass measurements, and fragmentation at low and high collision energies. Most phenylethanoid glycosides were reported inL. brevitubafor the first time. This established method may be employed for comprehensive quality control ofL. brevituba. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
