Abstract

The article describes the case of a 54-year-old male patient diagnosed with multiple giant condylomata acuminata (GCA) in the groin and scrotum caused by high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) type 56 infection. Topics discussed include GCA's designation as a verrucous carcinoma, the usual manifestation of condylomata acuminatum as multiple exophytic papillomatous lesions and the detection of other HPVs in patients with condyloma acuminatum. Also mentioned are other HPV type 56-positive lesions.
