Is the modernity of Chinese art comparable? An opening of a theoretical space.

Abstract

An essay is presented on an analysis of two or more Asian art cultures to know if Chinese modern art is of one kind. It examines whether Chinese modern art has similar empirical and conceptual topology to other modernities in Asia and how the art cultures face similar issues over time. It highlights similarity between the cases of Asia such as Thailand and China which shows some of the ways where an Asian modernity in art can be mapped that independent relatively of Euramerican models.
