Abstract
- The article discusses the developments in the U.S. paper industry in 1959. Special attention is paid to papermaker plant capacity, sales, prices and the profitability of the paper products sector. A table is presented illustrating the business performance of various sector companies, including International Paper, Crown Zellerbach, and Kimberly-Clark. The article also discusses the newsprint supplier industry, focusing on newsprint producer Great Northern Paper.
