Abstract
- This article analyzes the evolution of the gross domestic product per inhabitant correlated with the variation of the employment rate by participation in economic activity in the eight development regions of Romania in 2000-2012 period. To achieve the correlation between the two indicators, the article proposes the use of the linear regression model that is the base of many micro and macro analyzes. In this regression model, the gross domestic product per inhabitant is considered as outcome variables and the employment rate in each development region as variable factorial. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
