Abstract
- The article discusses a study which reported the first fossil evidence of a drill hole in a barnacle that can be attributed to an octopod. Topics covered include the method used in calculating the percentage of octopod drill holes in barnacles, a total of two scuta and 365 wall plates of acorn barnacles used as study samples, and discussion on encrusting foraminifer. Also explored is the morphology of the drill hole.
