Abstract

An important and challenging issue of modern education process is the meaningful usage of multimedia and interactive materials. Nevertheless, there is a significant lack of electronic educational materials which can meet the needs of all involved in education process and to support different styles of learning and teaching. The aim of this paper is to show educational web platforms and interactive materials that are designed to enhance the educational process in Serbian schools. Mentioned digital materials are created with special attention to curriculum, interactivity and visualization of various abstract mathematical concepts in order to make innovative learners by PhD students from Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Educational e-platforms help teachers to monitor the students' progress after each lesson, analyze data and adapt teaching to students' needs and interests; include parents in educational process in order to support their children in better planning of learning activities and etc. Some of the goals are to help students with their homework assignments and to prepare them for national final exams due to reinforce and extend their motivation, knowledge and skills that will be useful and outside the classroom. Last, but not the leaëĚS individual achievements and motivation problems of each student. All of the created educational materials emphasize interactivity, exploring and linking different mathematical concepts mutually as crucial part of learning process. The article points out an importance of innovations in mathematics education which is suitable for the modern students and highlights research results on relevant topic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
