Abstract
- Studies the role of acetaldehyde in ethanol-induced conditioned taste aversion (CTA) in rats. Indication that ethanol-induced CTA does not result from brain acetaldehyde effects; Possible reduction of ethanol-induced CTA by the reinforcing effects of brain acetaldehyde; Possible contribution of the inhibition of brain catalase activity to the potentiating effects of cyanamide on ethanol-induced CTA.
