Abstract
- The article analyzes the films "Sammy and Rosie Get Laid," directed by Hanif Kureishi, "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge," directed by Aditya Chopra, and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham," directed by Karan Johar. It focuses on the cultural representation of life in London, England in these British-Asian and Bollywood films. The article goes on to examine South Asian postcolonialism and its influence on filmmaking.
