Abstract
- The article reports on research which was conducted to create and evaluate a model of heart failure patients’ attitudes, beliefs, expectations, and experiences based on research that could influence the development of self management strategies. Using meta-ethnography researchers conducted a review of 19 studies. After conducting the review researchers were able to develop a conceptual model of the attitudes, beliefs, and expectations of patients with heart failure which was capable of assessing the interplaying factors that led to self management strategies.
