Abstract
- The article presents a study that assessed contributions of micronutrients to intakes derived from multivitamin/mineral (MVMM) supplements and compared those intakes to the dietary reference intakes of U.S. residents according to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2007-2010. Topics discussed include that total intakes of vitamins A, C, D, and E, as well as calcium, magnesium and potassium. Also mentioned is the finding on micronutrient insufficiency.
