Abstract

Reports on a study which indicates that inducible protein knockout reveals temporal requirement of Ca[sup 2+]/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) reactivation for memory consolidation in the brain. Integration of convergent protein engineering and rational inhibitor design; Analysis of the temporal stages of memory consolidation process.
