Abstract
- The article discusses environmental sustainability efforts by publishers as of April 2014. Topics include the environmental policies of Hachette Book Group publishing house for 2013 to 2016, the use of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified sustainable and recycled paper in book publishing, and the environmental reports by the Book Industry Environmental Council (BIEC). The Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) forest certification standard is also mentioned.
