- The article presents the 29th annual compilation of "The Forbes 500s," a list showing the growths of companies in terms of jobs and productivity in 1996, with the biggest increases coming in the service sector including companies such as Marriott International, hospital chain Columbia/HCA Healthcare and Wal-Mart Stores, the world's largest retailer.
