Abstract

Focuses on a study of 201 patients with a clinical diagnosis of acute sinusitis which points to the unreliability of clinical symptoms and signs in the diagnosis of sinusitis. Purulent secretion on the nasal floor as the strongest predictor of sinusitis; Other symptoms with high diagnostic accuracy; Symptoms with the lowest degree of diagnostic accuracy.
