Abstract

The article focuses on a study on the comparison of rivaroxaban and warfarin, used in the prevention of stokes in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF). Topics include the attainment of the prothrombin time (PT) international normalized ratio (INR) goal through warfarin, the impact of warfarin on prolonged stay of patients in a hospital and the use of ROCKET-AF trial in the study to demonstrate the efficacy of rivaroxaban in patients with NVA, as of April 2014.
