Abstract

The article discusses research which was conducted to investigate patients' intermittent allergic rhinitis symptoms, triggers and strategies to control rhinitis symptoms and to measure patients' medication adherence. Researchers evaluated 124 patients over the course of 10 days. They found that patients revealed 620 symptoms and 357 triggers, that they used 579 treatment strategies and that only 36% of patients adhered fully to their medication regimens.
