Abstract
- The article discusses the result of the study conducted by the Economic Research Service (ERS) which reveals the increase rate of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) household in the U.S. It features two social safety net programs in the country including SNAP and unemployment insurance for the eligible workers who become unemployed. It also notes that both programs help to increase the educational level of the householder such as high school diploma.
