Abstract

A letter to the editor is presented that focuses on research on the role of mutations on the gene DNMT3A in initiating events in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), stating that bone marrow samples were studied from 19 patients with AML, and mentions mutations of R882 on DNMT3A were not found in secondary subclones.
